Girl's Apartment
L'appartement des filles

A film by Michel Deville

1964 France - Comedy

Tibere is a handsome petty thief with an ingenious plan to smuggle gold into Bombay. However, to pull off his plan, he needs an air hostess to help him. He meets Elena, an air hostess on the India route, and the wooing begins. When he discovers that two other hostesses share Elena's apartment, the court is clearly his. All very different personalities, Elena, Lolotte and Mélanie have no idea they are about to be swindled by a seasoned conman. But what Tibere doesn't know, is that one of the girls has her own brand of irresistible charm and this might be one heist he won't be pulling off. Mylène Demongeot plays Mélanie, the scene stealing beauty who proves that love can set a man straight as Tibere is inspired to give up his life of crime for the woman he adores.
