Rudy Barichello




Versatile filmmaker, Rudy Barichello, participated in numerous productions in various fields such as feature film, advertising and scenes productions. In 2004, he presented his first feature film DANS L’OEIL DU CHAT (In the Eye of the Cat) which was presented for the opening of Les rendez-vous du cinema québécois and was screened in 28 venues in Quebec.  The film was co-written with Marcel Beaulieu. Previously, he directed ISMAËL, a short-movie written and shot in Belgium. The film received numerous prizes and was presented in several film festivals (58e Mostra del Cinema in Venice, Amiens, Brest, Namur, Montevideo, Ciotat and Gand). It was also nominated at the Jutra for best short film. During the same period, Rudy Barichello also wrote and directed a short experimental movie named KALSA shot in Sicily.
